December 4, 200718 yr This is why i've gotten in the habit of going between. It's alot easier. But for all your items to go up is odd. Maybe jagex put that price thread on the RSOF into action perhaps? Proud Tip.It Moderator December 07 - October 2009Proud TETAU Member 2006 - 2007 <3"I had a standing agreement with god. December 4, 200718 yr Highlanders, an auction system like that would certainly be more useful to us ordinary players. However I believe Jagex are concerned that a system like that could be used to disguise RWT. For example, if a RWT trader puts up burnt cod for 1 million, it isn't very likely that another player is selling burnt cod and their "partner in crime" would be able to buy it. I'm not saying that it is reasonable of Jagex to put limitations on the system for that purpose. I just think that is their "logic". Wouldn't "selling burnt cod 1 mill" be a huge tip-off for RWT? If Jagex had semi-decent software (assuming they do), they could put watches on accounts that buy items for ridiculous prices. (10k or 10% more than normal)

December 4, 200718 yr i know dude! but for me it goes down. alot an example of this is my karil's bow i won in the barrows. started selling at 297k, next day it droped 5k, 2 days later it dropeed a further 10k. within the week i eventually sold it for 255k! something is rigging it. it seems if no one buys one in that day, it just drops, constantly. their thing is not balanced 2 alot of price guides that not just tip.it but heaps of other fan sites that have price guides. it's ruining alot of selling purposes. its really only good for small items like, runes, herb seeds, low level or very high level arrows

But if they can't detect autoers who do nothing but one task then sell tens of millions worth of resources for GP, then transfer that GP by losing duels, then I guess their software isn't up to much. :| Like I say I don't necessarily agree with their logic. I just think that it is their logic for the price controls. Off topic: I've made 6m in the last two hours "merchanting" from the GE. December 5, 200718 yr economy stabilizing one slow step at a time? What are you talking about? How does that stabilize the economy? In Soviet Russia, glass eats OTers. Alansson Alansson, woo woo woo! Pink owns yes, just like you!GOOOOOOOOOO ALAN! WOO!

Depending on how many people are doing this and their supplies, it could take a while for some things to level out. As for the prices rising by 1 gp, I have no idea why Jagex would manually limit prices and control the market (as in set a minimum minimum like with what seems to have happened to gold and several other items). The only reason, in my opinion, for a government, in real life (again, my opinion), to control a market is to keep a monopoly from charging outrages prices by forcing it to divide into smaller companies and creating more competition. The only problem here is that there really isn't any possible way for people to create monopolies on Runescape due to all the competition that is readily available. The only reason for Jagex to set price limits is to stop RWT, but to do this, they just need to put up a maximum price (either manually or by saying no more than x% over the market price) that is adjusted periodically according to what things are selling for. This would allow people to set their own prices and keep people from just saying they'll buy item x for the lowest price effectively lowering prices due to the fact that not many people are selling for that price (or because everyone trying to sell for more than the minimum is getting impatient and lowering their prices making price drop more). There are probably some flaws in all of this, but I'm tired and don't feel like trying to find them and think of soutions. :XD: > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found
