If you have money to get a c bow, go and buy a rune crossbow and bolts intead. They hit harder, and are more accurate overall. I tested them on black dragons, and I found that the rune c bow trips are much faster than ones done by the crystal bow.

 

 

 

However, if u insist on using the c bow. Blue Dragons, Ice Trolls are both very good suggestions from above.
