3,5K alchs to 70 magic....WHAT I ALCH???

Well it doesn't quite work that way. Items are usually marketed a few gp less than alching value because people would just alch rather then sell, then adding the cost of the nature rune make you lose money.

The best way I think would be to buy green dragon hide bodies, and alch them. You defiantly lose profit but with the amount of players making them to train by, you can buy them easily with the least amount of money loss.

There may be other items but thats the one I heard works effectively. When I alched I runecrafted the natures via abyss. I was actually making some profit and I equaled it out the profit by buying natures which made me lose nothing, but it takes a few hours to craft 3.5k nats

I would have to say... yew longs. You will take a loss no matter what you alch.

600-610 per yew long (forums)

260 per nat (GE)

768 per alch

Almost 0% chance of breaking even if you buy both.

Only cases I've seen that it's worked out was with Green D'Hide bodies, people sold at 4.4k each because there were so many. But of course, those went FAST and were only a few.

You know, you could just calculate these things yourself. Look up item prices, and do math.

Its possible to buy 500 ea???

Where should i try to buy, forums??

I think it was pretty clear there is no way to "break even" with alching if you buy all your supplies.

In other words, no you can't buy for 500 each. If someone did sell for that cheap, I can guarantee that it'll be sold within like a minute.

well technically you need 69 magic for ice bursting (the quest gives a nice amount of exp at the end) and regardless of what item you alch, you WILL lose money aside from rune meds. you best stick with yew longs.
