December 7, 200718 yr do you mean what's the effect of smoking chinchompa traps using a torch? if that's what you meant, its slightly quicker to catch and you get less failed traps.. but in my experience it's too much extra effort for too little benefit.

I was getting 140-160 ish an hour up until I hit 70 then I was in the 180-200 range. Apparently, my signature was to big.

I and a few other players actually has confirmed that multiple hunters catching Red Chinchompas actually increases their respawn rate to the point where it becomes ridiculously fast. It's actually advantageous to have 3 to 4 hunters in the same Red Chinchompas spawn area. Just keep your traps in a tight "+" formation of "X" formation, depending on your maximum trap amount.
