do dbolts (e) have any effect on him?

 

because i was hoping of using 2500 addy bolts with 71 ranged to get to him and finishing with dbolts.

I'm pretty sure they work but the special is so rare so I suggest using addy daimond (e).

Edit: i have 2855 addy bolts, got for free. should i use those or mithril bolts?

Yeah, if you're bringing 2.5k addy bolts already, you really don't need the extra d (e) bolts.

The ones it misses probably totals up to 100 a run, but you could always pick those up if you wanted to.
