According to the results this far, 19% of the gamers will quit immediately.

 

 

 

I'm going to keep an eye on the RS main page to see if there's a true drop in the number of players compared to last week.

 

 

 

I said in another post that people who are displeased are more likely to express their annoyance than those who are happy with the changes or merely have no opinion. So it's truly difficult to gague just how many people will actually quit immediately at the moment.

 

 

 

you know quite frankly I think thats a good thing...most of those players that are being pathetic babys about losing pking(since thats the main concern atm) are also the ones that told all the rest of us skillers to get over the grand exchange...we loose our money making and its to bad they loose their fun and money making and the whole damn worlds going to end

 

 

 

anyway if they wanna be babys good ridance...runescape is made for players 13 and up not 5 year olds that still need mommy to whipe their [wagon].

Seems like you're looking at it from one angle, yours (non pker). You wrote as if you sympathized with them, yet flame them in the same sentence. Grand Exchange didn't kill skilling or merchanting, it just modified it. I know A LOT of people who only played because of staking and pking.

 

 

 

You could make the argument that they added BH, but that isn't saying much. The majority of BHers (that I've come across) are just a group of 1 iteming rushers. Pking is gone, skilling is not. Saying that they're being "babies" and "5 year olds that still need mommy to whipe their a**", shows your maturity level is low :roll: . I can understand why they did this, but I think they just went way too far.

I left Runescape for three months during the college admissions process.

 

I returned to find a new game.

 

 

 

I have been playing since Runescape Classic, I have 5 accounts, 3 of which are pures (one of each class). I paid for about 2 years on my main account.(until the college process) I feel like the time I put into getting characters with upwards of 80 strength / range / magic was for nothing. I wanted to come back and start pking, so first I went to buy some lobbies and gear. First, I noticed an enormous drop in the amount of people in the varock markets. No more trimmed item / rare item trading behind the bank!? I ignored this and proceeded to spend 15 minutes getting rid of onnly 80 death runes I had pkd (presumably because of the low demand since there are few pure mages / pkrs). I noticed the trade limit. A FORCED ECONOMY!? One of the best things about runescape was the realistic economy. I LOVED MERCHANTING. I gave stuff for free to noobs all the time (for fun!) No more philandering for me! After I recovered from this hit, I walked over to the wilderness in varock to find a desolate wasteland. I logged out to check my world. I was on world 1.

 

 

 

Curious, I checked the news updates.

 

 

 

Now I'm pissed.

 

 

 

Jagex has ruined the adrenaline pumping, intense part of the game that is pking because some whiny noobs dont like losing items when they die. Pking was by far my favorite part of the game and I will no longer support a company that has so blatantly ignored the wants of a huge aspect of its fanbase.

 

 

 

Jagex has taken the money Iv given them and shoved it up my. You get the point.

 

Goodbye Jagex.

 

Goodbye Runescape.

 

It was great.
