Any other games out there?

Featured Replies

To mod: I request that you do not move this thread to the games forum because I feel that first of all I won't get any/any good replys there and because so many more people browse this and will be more helpful to them here rather then there

Well the resent update got my pissed off. I quit, gave all my stuff away and ready for a new adventure in a different world with hopefully different kind of updates. I'm sure many of you feel the same way.

P.S. I'll still be active on these amazing forums because whatever happens in runescape these forums will still be here with such an amazing community.

P.P.S. I meant other RPG's, not single player games

You can check out Tip.It's own game, ARENAscape. :D

I'm playing Guild Wars right now.

Most will probably go to WoW though, but I don't like it.

Live free or die. First option is exhausted, so guess what remains?

....2 or so people have already done this

Post this or ask a mod to move this to the video games sub forum in off topic.

Guild Wars

WoW

Fiesta

Try typing free mmorpg's in google.

and thanks for the advices i'll check out fiesta!

edit: nvm fiesta has asian drawings, I hate that!

Well for starters, I did read your "message to mods" but despite your request, your thread is still in the wrong forum. We cannot allow people to post any thread in General Discussion because "they will get more replies." If we permitted such a thing, everyone would post there, making all the other forums essentially worthless. Besides, do you really think that you would get better replies about other games in a RuneScape forum or in a general Video Game & Console forum, where people are experts on all different kinds of games and not just RuneScape? ;)

And to answer your question, I'd recommend Lord of the Rings Online

Fair enough but it was one of the TWO reasons I posted there. Neverthless thanks.

oh and thanks, I'll go google that and see if it's cool

World of warcraft is all I can suggest.

It's a good game, and heck, Blizzard cares more about making money then they do their fan base so they don't do much to combat gold sellers, exactly what you want.

(I really suggest you take a big break from mmo's for a while though. I should of done that, but getting right into WoW caused some problems for me.)

I'd wait a week to see what they do when they tweek the update but it's a little late for you aint it.

I only have two MMO's that haven't been mentioned.

Ragnarok Online

Maple Story

oh and thanks, I'll go google that and see if it's cool

I guess it really depends on what you're interested in. I went from RuneScape to LOTRO because not only do I love the Lord of the Rings books and movies, but the two games were very similar when I made the switch. But LOTRO seemed much more complex and entriguing.

I'd recommend WoW. The largest community out of any MMORPG (plenty of grouping to go around) and its a good game at its own right. Plus, Blizzard is a great company that doesn't screw with their customers like some seem to do.

I'd say you could try LoTRO too but, I'll be honest, It's mostly a WoW clone at face value from what I have seen and just doesn't have the community or features that WoW does.

Likewise if you're looking for an f2p game I would recommend Anarchy Online, although it is a bit old.
