December 15, 200718 yr Lol, very good question. I was going to say yes before I saw "MySpace". I would believe it is, but then again MySpace allows it... I <3 Gears of War 2. Add me on Xbox Live and mention you are from Tif :D
December 15, 200718 yr A lot of artists upload music on their own MySpace site or 'accidentally' "leak" new albums to gain more popularity, even known and commercially succesful artists. Other than that, no idea  Not having an account there, I don't visit MySpace really... But I remember nearly every front page being embedded with like 5 MP3's. Legal or not; You'd have to make your own judgement... If the artist hasn't chosen to freely distribute those MP3's, such as Radiohead, it's very likely to be illegal.
December 15, 200718 yr When you upload a song onto myspace you have an option as to make it available for download. So the artist decides whether or not the song can be downloaded, in most cases the song can only be listened to and not downloaded. A friend to all is a friend to none.

Yeah myspace now has a download button for those artists who choose to allow their songs to be downloaded.
December 15, 200718 yr If you can download the song, it means the artist wants to let you. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
December 15, 200718 yr Dl it, doubt you'll get caught lol I want to ride that!!! That's what she said yesterday :P
December 15, 200718 yr It is legal if its the artists official Myspace. However, regular people can make fan pages and upload the artists song for download. This is likely to be illegal. My opinion - who cares?

December 15, 200718 yr ^. +1, I am 100% sure. However, I'd like to tell you that, although it is illegal, I would bet my soul they do not track and penalize [heavily] those who do download off a fansite. Just don't mass-download. The spelling and grammar of that email was that of an 11 year old palestinian goatboy who is speaking english for the first timeQuite simply, Facebook craps on Myspace. Then makes it eat the crap.
December 15, 200718 yr Well it's the artist letting you do it, so of course it's legal. Even if it's not the artist letting you dl it, seriously who cares.
