People want more XP, and faster. So they move to the next monster, which can survive their highest hit. Highest hit = max XP.

It happens everywhere. Sometimes while ranging blue dragons some jerk comes along and ranges them all to about a quater of their hitpoints the switches.

 

 

 

 

 

It's just so they don't spend as much arrows and time on one monster and still get the drops.

 

 

 

 

 

Solution? World hop. Don't even bother yelling at them.
