Cooking level req to NOT burn monkfish

Featured Replies

There is no such level. JaGEx said that you'll always burn monkfish, but at high levels you'll burn very very few.

I'm pretty sure that its 87 on a range, and 90 on a fire, i think icecube was thinking of that they are not affected by cooking gauntlets

Actually, you never stop burning them.

I remember a while ago a player had tried using the boost on his Cooking Cape and cooking them and still managed to burn one.

So unless JaGEx updated since that player tried, you'll burn one in every thousand or so. Either way, it doesn't really matter.

I'm 97 Cooking, and used my Cooking Gauntlets while cooking 1,000 Monkfish today (had them laying around my bank for some time now) and I didn't burn any of them.

I'm 99 cooking, and I've cooked a good 2k of them since I achieved the level. None burned.

Well I'm talking about large quantities. I didn't mean every thousand like I said previously.

And like I said... it doesn't matter either way. Once in a large amount compared to none doesn't really matter.
