anybody for creating games?

topic says it all i think one cool and easy soft is at http://www.game-editor.com its trial unless u buy it anyway l8er i will put some my jobs who wanna join the assiociation of game makers created by me just post here andif u dont i would need some help on drawing characters objects and lands (games i make is 2D dont expect too much anyway its still good)

they are far better than some of those ones.

 

 

 

u mean u can make better 2d games than me? u think u tough and u think ur games better? u ever saw any of them?! do you?!

have u heard of rpg maker? i would prefer it..

 

 

 

yeah anyway im not ready to leave 2D zone yet... im noobish... 4th day when i start makin games

umm...I'm sorry, but game-maker is crap.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

maybe just use it to learn the basics of programming then step onto Java or VB as soon as possible. don't let the game-maker ruin you mind ;)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

VB is almost like game-maker and can be used without much previous knowledge through tutorials.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

now that I think of it Microsoft Visual Studio might not be free...I got it through school, but Java can be run more easily through notepad and DOS-Prompt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

anyway, game-maker is good for making simple games, but nothing can beat programming and I strongly suggest you learn Java, or atleast VB instead.

um i got this program called the 3D game maker, its darkbasic software. it can make good quality games very easily. i mess about with it alot. lol.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

yer its like ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã20 or so. search darkbasic on google or summin and find the home site its in products. if your interested....

If you wanna make a game VB should be your way to go if your new to programming and designing , Javas way to hard to step in at entry level i think . I could give you the source to a VB Game i made if you like . Just get VB and skim read the text , its pretty self explanatory ans the graphics are just photoshop pixels so its pretty easy to understand and edit parts of it.

after that step over to C,C+ or C++ its way better.

 

 

 

C++ is used massively in the pro. games industry
