December 22, 200718 yr It's a cache...for runescape. :uhh: They need to store some local files somewhere on your PC. Contrary to what some people think, runescape does install on your PC -- updates and such.
December 22, 200718 yr Yup. It's their cache. If you don't have that installed, you can't play RuneScape.
December 22, 200718 yr Runescape doesn't stream many files to your PC. All of the character models, Maps etc are all installed on your pc there. All the files are encrypted however, so you can't just view them normally.

All it does is force a complete reload of the game files.

December 24, 200718 yr Tip: if you play RS on the school computers, delete Jagex_cache_32. (Duh!) As well as taking away history, cookies, etc.
