I'm pretty sure they nerfed the Aviansies to a certain extent. They don't drop near as much addy.

i've found that they drop more addy bars with a row

 

and yes they did nerf the addy bar drop rate

nope, I just did it yesterday and it was a lot less than 1 kill per 1 Addy. I was also using a RoW. I got a bout 100 after killing about 175-200.

It wouldn't matter anyway. Addy bars weren't and aren't a rare drop. But yes, they were nerfed a while back. :P

Also does it matter if I kill a high lv Aviancie compared to a lower lv one?

I find that when I'm not praying, I naturally attack lower-level avianses and get less bars than teh praying method, so I'd say that the higher level ones drop more often
