It's an easy assignment as I received a Spiritual Ranger task very recently. A word of advice tho: you'll need god-gear of at least 3 gods to protect you while in the God War Dungeon and you'll need a good supply of prayer potions. The Spiritual Rangers can hit rather hard so make sure you're well equipped to fight them. I was using Range prayer while I was going through my assignment and I think I might have used close to 20 4-dose prayer pots.

Last time I tried this they did wayyy too much damage and I burthorped them.

Sounds like you weren't prepared to enter the God Wars Dungeon. I suggest you read Tip.it's GWD guide and go to the bottom of the guide to see a list of protective equipment. Personally, I use items that are cheap/free and easily replaced such as Zamorak God Cape, Armadyl pendant and Saradomin Holy Book.

waste of time imo. go for only mages when you have the slayer level.
