Has the hacker left behind herbs and say 1 valuable? I was noticing this on other posts and I was just hacked lost 50m but they left behind herbs and one valuable, so i was trying to see if this hacker is one and the same with everyone. Obviously if it is then jagex is letting it go, no way they don't notice someone getting billions a day.

There's a reason jagex has that thing when you log into rs, it says your ip address for the last time you or someone logged in.

Getting hacked isn't bad luck, it's just stupidity. If you are not stupid, you will never get hacked.

I always hit "print screen" when I first log in, if I notice my character would be moved or stuff is missing THEN I would look at the IP :wink:

Actually, it is stupidity. If you aren't smart enough or at least methodical enough to keep your computer clean or to keep someone from watching you type your password, then it's you're fault for being dumb enough to get 'hacked.'

it is stupidity, stop going to random sites, stop downloading porn, and stop accepting files. duke freedom has been posting his bank for a wile, he wasnt hacked. many rich people dont get hacked. explain that. owntkthxybe

Would be nice if they maybe had "last 5 ips" instead of just one. Sometimes I accidently forget to check that when logging in.

I'm glad that I've never been hacked.... because I run spybot at least once every three days, have two firewalls, don't let people see my pass, etc. I recommend you do the same.

Actually many times it is about users not being secure enough... had you been secure you would have a virus scanner, firewall, adaware, spybot, and housecall.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not to mention using firefox rather then IE or atleast setting the securty settings for IE higher... then you wouldn't be getting that message.

Using mules is a bannable offense according to JAGeX' rules. I wouldnt use that as a advice if I was you.
