Hello. It's been a long time since I've played the game. I use to play pretty actively up until the time the GE came out. However, I've wanted to get back into playing so that when I'm bored at work, I'll have something to do (my work PC is pretty crappy). Since I've always had members when I played, I checked my email and the last time I found a worldpay receipt was 2007. From talking on IRC (irc.efnet.org - #runescape), I've learned that they've started instituting new security measures like registered emails and whatnot. I tried the last known password I've used for the account and it doesn't work. I've tried to do the password recovery and it asks for my email address. I've tried all 4 emails I've used in the last 10-15 years and I keep getting told that none of them are valid. I made another account so I could post to the forums but it hasn't gotten me anywhere so far. I made a two posts in the 'hijacker has set a registered password' and 'I've forgotten my password' threads but I haven't seen any kind of reply back from Jagex in my email or the user panel for the forums. I've tried emailing as well to no avail (only email that I found that would go through was [email protected]). I was wondering if any of you have encountered a similar issue. If so, was it resolved and what did you have to do to get your account back? Any suggestions on someone I can talk to or post that I'll get an actual reply? I don't know if I'm being ignored or what. Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to get back in and do more skilling. Thanks, -Panix-

Too bad rune smithing is pretty much profitless. I would have loved this back in the day when I was buying ores cheap and selling for an actual profit.

Being your first offense, pray for deferred prosecution. That's what it's called in Alabama. On my first drug offense, I received deferred prosecution which meant that if I completed the terms set forth by the court, I could have the charges dropped. Being 18, you're gonna get hit as an adult. You could try and get a good lawyer that could get the charges reduced to trespassing and/or aiding and abetting. Your best bet is to get the charges reduced as low as possible and aim for probation+community service or something similar to deferred prosecution. You ARE lucky you haven't been picked up and booked. The last time I got picked up on drug charges, I got to spend about 48 hours in jail in maximum security before I could get bailed out. The first time I got picked up, I just sat around in city jail for a couple hours, got transported to county and then got bonded out once I was booked in county. (it was pretty lame. got booked in and then immediately booked out.) If your motives was drug money, I'd be getting into rehab or some sort. It'll look alot better on the courts that way. Regardless, try and find the best damn lawyer you can find. The quality of lawyer makes a HUGE difference. My first time around would have been alot different if I had a better lawyer. Good luck. Jail sucks. I'll die before I go back.

The Skillcape Outfit Competition v.3! Post Your Outfit!
Panix replied to Adicolorz's topic in General Discussion
-=Smithing cape=- By Panix187 Here's what I use to run around RS1 looking like. I think I took this like right before RS2 was released By Panix187 -
I got 99 smithing after having 98 smithing for years only because I thought I was going to jail at the time and it was something I wanted accomplished before going in. Other than that, I've always loved smithing and worked my [wagon] off on RS1 and RS2 to raise it.

I love black demon quests. Great strength and slayer experience.

How many Rares do you think are left/in circulation now?
Panix replied to Demeige's topic in General Discussion
You guys have have no clue how many damn crackers were pulled when the dupe went down. And not just party hats were duped. Santas, masks, pumpkins, etc. I'd say there's alot more in existence than merchants would like one to think. And really? Who cares? -
Someone a while back made a huge post using college-level math proving the benefits of using prayer that speeds up healing when pickpocketing. The bracelet of regen would work as well. If the prayer and the bracelet stacks, it'd be even better. But then again, does anyone pickpocket for thieving exp anymore?

mitril dragons must drop dragon legwear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Panix replied to lacsapix's topic in General Discussion
What about dragon squares and meds being dropped by tons of NPCs?!@$!@$ OMGWTFBBQ worst.thread.evar -
I'm not one much having outfits and such because I'd rather use the bank space for skilling but I do have a dragon med, zamorak plate and legs because I like the way it looks. I've always wanted it ever since clues came out. I even got the Zamorak legs and plate from drops and only had to buy the legs. So I'm kinda proud of that fact too. Gold trimmed rune doesn't look that bad either but I don't really care enough for it to own it. Green is my favorite color (I love my green party hat and slave robes) but I don't care much for the Guthix rune. My vote goes for Zamorak rune. :D

I can't imagine in my wildest imagination someone needing runescape like I would need 6mg shot of diladudi in my arm. Runescape is nothing like a junk habit. I know from personal experience.

I don't know if it's because I've recently (last 6 months or so) started listening to talk radio or what but that's one of the worst interviews I've ever heard.... I listened to the beginning of the podcast and it sounded boring so I just started skipping around to find the interview. What I heard was pretty dull and boring. When I finally got to the interview, I was in awe at how awful it was. Most of the questions were poor. One of the interviewers was barely audible (I had to turn off sounds on GAIM and other applications because I had to crank the overall volume up so high just to hear it). And I heard one of the guys ask twice for free stuff. Normally, I'd just play it off as a joke but he sounded serious. I'm sorry but you guys sounded like complete noobs at the thought of her owning a dragon chain. Wouldn't one expect someone who's played that long to be rich? Although Ashley didn't sound much better with the one word answers and such she gave. She didn't give much of an interview and it seemed like the interviewers were just grasping at straws a few times to make it interesting. I found it sad that she completely avoided the question of 'most embarrassing moment in rs'. I'm not trying to flame and I know it sounds like it but really, you guys should listen to yourselves. If you're wanting to make this something serious that you do regularly, my advice would be to listen to other talk show hosts like Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity. Even if you don't believe what they say, you could learn alot about how to conduct a radio show and interviews. Even the KoL radio show ran by the creators of the game is conducted in a much better manner although it's just a Q & A segment consisting of questions asked by people who play the game that want to hear what the creators/developers of the game have to say. (Don't you wish Jagex would do the same thing?) A side note: I'm not Republican or Democrat but I do enjoy listening to Rush Limbaugh as I find him comical. He seems to have a good bit of fun on the radio as opposed to Sean Hannity who sounds like a complete conservative nutjob but one can't deny their talk show abilities.

Grow up. If you don't want to be made of, don't wear girl pants.

I happen to be twelve. People have to stereotype twelve-year-olds, don't they? >> A stereotype is always generally speaking. Which means there are always exceptions. Don't get offended by it, deal with it. You know just as me that we don't mean people like you. But well, other people. What Ltje said. If you can type like you atleast tried in school, then I respect what you have to say. I was actually surprised to see a twelve-year-old type as well as you did. I'm sorry. In the nine or ten years I've been on the Internet, my experience has been that younger users (myself included at one point in time) find it cool to type like a kid with Down Syndrome. I'm kinda more lenient on people who are outside the US since English is usually their second language (or third or fourth) language. Although I've seen many people in such a situation who type better than people from the US. Also, for the longest, I thought Runescape was full of racist because I got several private messages from people who would type 'wp.' After a while, I realized they meant 'wrong person' and not 'white power.' #-o And for the record, I believe that even with a cellphone, shorthand isn't necessary unless your phone has a low limit on the number of characters per message. Word completion is the key. My boss use to hand me his phone when he had to send a text message because he was so slow. Although, I don't really know if that's something I should be bragging about. Personally, I find Britain's version of English on par with some of the shorthand and abbreviations I hear on the Internet sometimes. I really wonder sometimes if we both share the same language. I believe that if you want to be taken seriously, proper spelling and grammar goes a long way. One of my best friends online now that I talk to is a older fella with kids who play as well. One of the main reasons I enjoy talking to him (besides the fact that he has been incredibly nice to me and I can talk to him about anything from what I'm doing to my drug habit and anything in between) is the fact that he types well. Finally, how hard is it to use a damn dictionary? I've got dictionary.com added a search engine on Firefox and I used it several times on this post to spell things I wasn't sure of. Hell, Firefox 2.0 has underlined several things already for me and I fixed it everything with a red line under. I hate 'plz' too. Sorry for the long post. I just got home from work, got some food in my belly and I'm working on getting my itch now.

Dh for Dharok has to be one of the worst. Abby whips for abyssal whips is pretty bad as well. Most text messaging lingo such as 'wut' and '4' is pretty pathetic too. I type everything out even on my cellphone and these kids can't type one more character to make 'what.' It's kinda sad if you ask me. Personally, I'd rather spell everything out so I don't look like an illiterate or a 12 year old. In game and irl :P

Pot is like alcohol. Some people can be responsible with it. Others can't. I personally don't care much for it. I've seen some people giggle like girls and just get annoying and others hold it together and act fine while baked. Same with alcohol. I don't know about it being a gateway drug because I started out doing painkillers after high school at around 19 and never smoked pot until I was like 22 or so. I'm for pot legalization. It's not as bad as everyone thinks. It's alot better than a good dope addiction. I just woke up from several nightmares, drenched in sweat from my body heat going crazy with my skin crawling and it's not going to get better until I get dilaudid in me. As much fun as doing painkillers are, I'd never recommend ANYONE getting an addiction from doing it every day. I handled things well when I was single and snorting oxycontin but now supporting 2 needle habits (me and my girlfriend) while paying rent and utilities is brutal. Not much fun most days. I hope the above isn't seen as bragging. Just a forewarning for anyone thinking of going down that road.
