Maybe it's because of the contrast of winter where everything's freezing and there isn't any smell at all, but I just love that first day when it hits a warm temperature and brings that smell along with it. I can get pleasure from smelling almost any kind of food (people think me wierd as I'm always smelling things; often I smell just to see if I would like to eat something as I can almost always tell from the smell whether it would taste good). Ozone smells pretty good too, at least in my opinion. It's what you smell when you breathe in what comes out of most air purifiers like the ones you see at Sharper Image. O3's pretty bad for you to breathe in though - I found that out through firsthand experience. I have an air purifier and liked smelling the stuff, and the next day I was coughing/wheezing all day. Freshly baked chocolate cake. Freshly baked anything, really... Reminds me of how I got up on a Sunday as a child and the whole house would smell of something yummy my mother made. And yes, another vote for gasoline (and, in the same category, alcohol pens and glue). Yeah, I was already an addict at the tender age of 4 :?
