A band that re-records songs to make them more radio friendly isn't worth mentioning. :x And The Berzerker owns. I saw them live with Strapping Young Lad/Dark Tranquillity/Nile/Napalm Death. Best show I've been to. We came in kinda late and I think the drummer had broke his foot or something but the drum machine sounded just the same :P i hope that was a joke. Ive heard alot of people call them hardcore, but I don't think either lable suits them well, since their sound has changed pretty dramatically from album to album Avenged Sevenfold is another punani band like Atreyu. They try and sound all metalcore yet they have these girlie choruses that ruin it for them. I'd LOVE Still Remains if they didn't have clean vocals in it. I'm glad someone else liked it. I don't read the tech forums but it's 2am and I'm kinda bored so..... I wanted to know if anyone has tried using Deep Freeze, Protect-On or DriveShield as solutions to the spyware problem. We use DriveShield at the school system I work for. It pretty much takes a 'picture' of the computer when you lock it down. All functionality works with the computer but all changes to protected drive letters are lost upon reboot. (such as spyware, malware, viruses, trojans, term papers, legitimate program installs, etc). We ended up having to put a drive letter, unprotected, off to the side for people to save documents and such. The only difference is we don't allow teachers and students to install programs. Of course, this would be different on a home machine. You wouldn't have to really keep some complex password to toggle the protection but this would be a great program for situation like what was described. (The computer is protected, sister mucks it up, you reboot, good as new). You do have to reboot when you turn it on and off but for the protection it gives, you can't beat it. It allows you to test an installation before making it a 'permanent' change. Just install the program, see if it's something you want to keep. If so, disable the program, reboot and install. There's one called 'Fortres' I believe that actually allows you to make exceptions. This would allow one to not protect say 'My Documents', allowing files to be saved there like before and leaving the rest of the hard drive protected. I've never tried it but we are looking into implementing this on administrators' machines were they do alot more typing and need to save stuff to the hard drive. This might be a little better for home users as well since the protection is a little more customizable. It might seem like alot of work but you NEVER have to worry about spyware, adware, trojans, etc staying on your computer ever again. Ad-Aware and Spybot are no longer deployed on the new machines we send out and it has REALLY reduced the amount of time we spend fixing machines :) Links: Protect-On DriveShield Deep Freeze Fortres Maybe this should be a post in itself?

no nu-metal plzkthx mostly metalcore or that swedish metal with gaey vocals :x I can't knock the metalcore because I do like some of it but all these bands with clean vocals (Trivium, new In Flames, Hell Within, etc) are killing me especially bands with really good early stuff (In Flames mainly). I've always been into the more melodic swedish stuff. I do listen to other types of death metal like Decapitated, Hate, Behemoth but I get down on Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, Reborn in Flames, Centinex mostly with some Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Bury Your Dead playing some too. I LOVE going to metal shows, local or otherwise. In Alabama, it's a rare thing to find someone with the same interests in music and even harder to find someone who doesn't love Mudvayne and Slipknot :roll: I can do some black metal but it usually sounds more death metal'ish than true black metal :P (Like the new Old Man's Child or Immortal's 'In the Heart of Winter') My Top 5 Bands would be: The Black Dahlia Murder Dark Tranquillity At The Gates Behemoth Mindless Self Indulgence (No, this isn't a joke. I know they aren't metal but they f!@#ing own. Seen them live twice now :D) I download alot of music. If anyone knows how to setup FTP servers, use FTP clients, FXP, etc and are into metal, message me on AIM or MSN. I'm always down for some trading 8)

Vicodin is weak. Assuming you got the highest dosage of hydrocodone possible in a 'vicodin' type generic (10mg), that's still pretty low. Then again, some people are pretty sensitive to medication (I was when I started out) but I was NEVER that bad. :? And to the person who recommended snorting a hydrocodone/acetametaphin pill, go try snorting 500mg of tylenol and see how much fun it is. :x I've never had the pleasure but from what I've been told, it cancels out any kind of good feeling you'd get otherwise :P There's alot better narcotics than hydrocodone :wink:

I think people who can't look past the slavery issue with the flag as just as closed minded as the people who are offended by the 'racism' in it. I dislike rednecks as much as the next person and I really don't care much about my background or heritage (I was borned and raised in 'the heart of dixie' :roll:) but I can see how some people could want to fly it for non-prejudice reasons. In my opinion, it's similar to abortion in terms that I'd hate to see someone's options removed just because a group of people don't agree with it. After reading through some WW2 stuff on wikipedia, I found out that the swastika is the same way. The nazis bastardified a symbol used way back before the time of Christ. It's going through the same fight and losing it just the same. The Dead Kennedys (Napalm Death made a much better cover :P) made a good song for racist, particularly nazis. ;)[/url]

When I gathered seaweed, I'd rather at entranca, teleport back to falador, use the range on the way to the east bank and bank. I eventually got lazy and started buying orbs :P Battlestaves are pretty profitable though if you make everything (cosmics, orbs, etc)

I'm with Pyro on this. Pretty everything he/she, I agree with. Even if you don't believe in abortion, I don't believe you should close that option for people who do believe in/need it. And for the people who think would say illegal drugs or drunk driving should be legal too by my reasoning, I'd just like to say that some of us are actually responsible in our partying. I've used methadone (something some people believe is no different than taking heroin) 5 days out of 7 before and although I woke up with small withdrawal back pains, I never robbed my work to get more money to score a fix. :roll: I hit the garage with my first car more times than I've ever hit ANYTHING when I'm drunk. :lol: Although I can see why there is laws about driving while intoxicated because it still isn't a good idea and most people aren't that responsible. I'll stop drinking before I get too inebriated to function. Comparing slavery to abortion is like comparing murder to theft.
