What can you alch in f2p, that will break even, or even make you money.

 

I will be buying my own nats, and the things to alch, i don't care whether i make a ton of money, as long as it covers the cost of nats and the item i buy.

 

I would like to make some profit, even if its just a few gp, but breaking even is ok too.

 

I've heard steel plates are good, and rune meds, anything else?

Steel PLates, Rune Meds, and possibly rune daggers, according to my friend.

You're almost certainly going to lose money alching, no matter what.

DEFINITELY no. Its simple math, coals are like 170, irons 80, you need 2 coals and 1 iron per bar, and 5 bars per plate, so:

 

 

 

coals - 170 x 2 x 5 = 1700 (you are losing only with the coals)

 

irons - 80 x 1 x 5 = 400

 

 

 

For a total of 2100 per plate, which it high alchs for 1,2k

If you make it out of bars, you lose even more. You'll stil lose if you make out of ores: each plate=10 coal+5 iron+1 nat. Alch value is 1200gp.

 

10 coal x 150ea=1500 for coal alone.

BAH! Alching is out of the question i guess, since i really don't want to lose money.

Personally i alch my own ruby necklaces, but you could try steel plates or green d'hide bodies
