99 Crafting :o

Hey,

 

 

 

From 85-99 craft i had a few questions.

 

 

 

If i bought green d hides at 1.6kea and it takes 3 hides for 1 body which is 4.8k.

 

 

 

I see offers of 4.8k-4.9k on the forums,so sould i not break even from crafting all these hides?

 

 

 

It's roughly 56k hides for 99 and i was wondering can i tann and craft 1k hides into body's in 2 hours.

 

 

 

If the costs is 20 per hide it should only cost 1.2mish for 99, but like i said i see offers of even 4.9k on forums, i don't have much experience of selling green d hide bodies on the forums so can i easily sell 55k hides over a long perioud of time, around 110 hours the time it will take to craft that many. Only F2p's buy bodies so can i really sell that many at prices between 4.8-4.9k?

 

 

 

If what i think is correct i could break even from getting 99 craft and it would only take 110 hours o.O could someone tell me f theres a catch or i've made a mistake.

Gah! your right =/ not so much of a problem as i always wanted 99 mage so i'll use my method get 99 mage and ill end up with 7.8m craft xp, only need arnound 5m more to get 99 which would cost 9m, are there any other methods that guarentee 100k+ xp per hour at a reasonable price from 85-99 or 7.8m xp which is level 93-99?

Not really, green bodies are the most reasonably prices (and fast) method. Let me scrounge up something from a few months ago....Aha! From AfroThunderX:

 

Green D'Hides : 1,500 GP

 

 

 

25,000,000 GP / 1,500 = 16,666 Green D'Hides

 

 

 

16,666 / 3 = 5,555 Green D'Hide Body's

 

 

 

Green D'Hide Body Exp. = 186 Exp.

 

 

 

5,555 G. D'Hide Body's = 1,033,230 Exp.

 

 

 

 

 

High Alch Value = 4,680 GP

 

 

 

5,555 x 4,680 GP = 25,997,400 GP

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nature Rune Price = 300 GP

 

 

 

12,000 D'Hides = 18,000,000 GP

 

 

 

4,000 D'Hides Body's = 744,000 Experience

Buy 12,000 Green D'Hides and 4,000 Nature Runes

Experience Gained: 744,000 Experience

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

High Alch 4,000 Green D'Hide Body's

Only lose 480,000 each time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You will have to do this approximately 18 times.

 

 

 

18 x 480,000 GP Lost = 8,640,000 GP

 

 

 

You would need to acquire 8,640,000 to be able to make this affordable.

 

 

 

 

 

That is how I might go about doing it if I were in your shoes. Time will be the biggest factor. Hope this helped.

Lol that's a great help mate =) i sold all my barrows and now i r skillering so monster hunting is out of the way for me, looks like im gonna have to make a date (well quite a few dates) with some rather large birds in GWD :o

Didn't get on in a while lol but just read the guide, i don't understand how can you make 600k per hour crafting furies =/ im guessing you can't anymore as it seems like a old guide, but can you still make that much doing fury's, can you evven still do furys lol?

Once I got the crafting level to cut onyx's(which was less than a week ago) I checked the prices on all onyx items on the GE. Rings of stone were around 1 mil cheaper than onyx(uncut), cut onyx's were around 300k cheaper than uncut ones. Unenchanted onyx amulets were about 300k cheaper than cut onyx's. Furies were about 100k cheaper than furies...

 

 

 

I didn't think to check the prices of berserker necklaces or whatever the bracelets are.

 

 

 

If any of those prices are even close to being correct, the onyx business isn't very profitable for crafters and mages. Then again, I'm typing this up from memory... I do clearly remember heavy losses, though. At the time I was thinking that it might be more effective to sell to players directly, but the new trading limit will force people to make the above losses.

Yeah, after the GE came out and people were able to buy bulk Chaos easily, everyone went to trade them in for Onyx Gems. This caused most Onyx jewelry to drop quickly.
