Assassin's Creed open for a sequel?

Warning Spoilers

So after going through the game, the ending really shocked me and if anyone else has played through the game, ideas on the open ending?

[hide=Spoilers/Proof] So after you kill Ali Mualim you go back to the animus room. As the templars have located the Orbs of Eden the doctor and the assistant leave saying "don't rest up we'll be back." Also the writing on the wall is pretty suspicious.[/hide]

They already announced they were making a sequel or possibly 2 sequels so it would be a trilogy.

And yes, we're going to get co-op.

If you read the computer messages, you will find out why the writing on the wall is there and where it came from .

The male doctor's computer can be accessed by pickpocketing him during one of the downtimes.

How much more blatant could they make it that there was going to be a sequel :| ?

Anyways..., check the laptops. There's no vital information on them, but there are a few interesting emails to read that give you something of an idea as to what's going on.

Oh, and you're going to laugh at how the professor types his emails. He makes 1337speakers look like geniuses. That, and you'll get a kick out of the email about Mexico :-w .

[Oi, types this before reading yomom's post >_<. Anyways, if you didn't steal the pen from his coatsleeve during one of the intermissions, it's on the desk table by the Animus.

Though, yomom, where in the emails did you find out the source of the writings on the walls? I just assumed it was assassins, but I didn't see any obvious reasons in the messages :-s .]

And yes, we're going to get co-op.

Praise Allah :o!

Though, I hope they make the combat system more than just for looks in the next few games, even though it does look awesome. There's a certain point at which one's fighting skill really can't get any better [reacting to every attack with a counter, attacking in circles and randomly, it's really not too hard to perfectly master the system], and once that point is reached enemies aren't made harder by requiring more skill, but by countering more (uncontrollable) or limiting the number of lethal counters (which I'm sure you guys noticed as the game progressed).

Maybe we'll be able to do cooler combos than just "x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x"... :-k . Or not. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

[hide]I'm not sure which laptop it is from, it may be the laptop in the conference room, which you can access by obtaining the codes from the doctor's laptop. Once in there, there is a computer in the corner, access that and it will tell you about a few test subjects. You'll find something not only interesting, but that implies your character will be doing some of the fighting from here on in, and it also tells you the origin of the wall writing [to my remembrance]. It's either on the male doctors laptop or the conference room laptop, now that I think about it I'm pretty sure its the male doctor's laptop. The conference room laptop tells of all of Abstergo's operations and their goals, as well as provides information about test subjects that are not you.[/hide]

If you just want me to tell you what it says, [to the best of my memory, I did it so long ago] I will.

Just thought of something they need to add: difficulty settings. This game is wayyy too easy [i only died twice throughout the whole thing], and it gets even easier as the game progresses because of all your new moves and dodging.

I hate assasins creed because of the repetitiveness and the freakin ending. Its obvious if youve reached it that its going to be anualised and franchised and that is not what they promised. An epic movie type story and what movie ends with"wait for the next installment".

[hide=Ending, Spoilers]Just in case you haven't found out yet Reb, here's the origin of the marks: your character. The ancestor [Devon or whatever his name is], during the night and unaware of what he was doing, smeared his blood on the wall to make those markings. This is due, according to the laptop, to the ancestor confusing his identity with Altair's, the assassin's, a common side effect of using the animus.[/hide]

[hide]I thought it was Subject 16 who was effected by the genetic bleeding. He couldn't distinguish between his life and his ancestor's life. That's also why Lucy didn't want Desmond to stay in the Animus for too long.[/hide]

I finished the game, loved the ending.

[hide]Did the templars get the treasure at the end? Or what? Right before Desmond was taken out of the Animus for the last time, after he killed Al Mualim...[/hide]

Hope the next game will be better. I thought this game was too easy.

[hide]I though Altair was the ancestor :-s .

Wait, do you mean descendant, like one of the other subjects?

Or are you saying the main character was sleep walking and dropping more blood than he has in his entire body all over the room while he was asleep o_O?[/hide]

I was referring to Desmond, sorry. I confused the ancestor's name with Desmond's name. Desmond is the one with the confused identity dropping blood [well actually drawing with it on the walls] because of his confused identity

When you win the game...

[hide]who gets the treasure? After you kill Mualim, and after you see the globe with the locations coming up from the treasure, about five people show up next to you and then you exit the Animus for the last time.[/hide]

Your character keeps it, he was unable to destroy it, but did not become consumed by it. He wanted to find its true potential.

If you go back in the animus, there is an epilogue you can read that states what Altair does after the game is over.
