January 7, 200818 yr There's an interesting thing that I've wondered about the GE for a while... The best way to explain/ask would be to give an example. Let's say I've got 1Mil. I got to the GE and find that air runes are selling for between 10-15gp each. I decide to buy 100k air runes for 10gp each. Now... my question is... is it possible to sell them for 15gp each and get 1.5Mil in return? Will this not work with the new trade limitation? Or is 10-15gp considered market price and is inside that range of 3k trade limitation? Just wondering... Thanks! P.S. Any suggestions on what to merchant at the GE?
January 7, 200818 yr Idk if this would work, but anyway if you want to merch with GE buy at minimal and sell for the medium price, i believe its 12gp ea the air rune
January 7, 200818 yr It will work, but you will have to wait a short amount of time between buying and selling the same item due to "price manipulation", as said by Jagex. It's only a small amount fo time though, but yes ,erchanting still works to some extent using that method. You can't trade 15ea with other people, only thru GE, so no, it is not really a good idea with airs.you would have to find an item that rises/drops more.
January 8, 200818 yr Yes it would be possible but the problem is buying at the min price and selling at the high, you'd have to wait FOREVER to get a sale.
