January 8, 200818 yr Jagex have said many times that kill count makes no difference to what you can get from the chest, although a higher Kill count to lead to a greater amount of runes.

January 8, 200818 yr 21 is the ideal number for Kill count, any less, less drops (supposibly), any more, over kill.

January 9, 200818 yr Wow.. just.. wow. I've gotten racks on 6 KC, and racks on 15+ KC. It doesn't matter. The key factor is that you kill all 6 brothers and loot the chest. That's it. You could go 6 KC every trip and get a Guthan's Spear, or you could get nothing but some minds and a few coins. It's all random. Please know what you're talking about before you give advice.
