voltagex Posted January 13, 2008 Share Posted January 13, 2008 I'm trying to get herblore up and also trying to make a bit of cash, but with GE prices you make a loss on every potion. e.g. Avantoe is 1031gp, Snape grass is 435gp but the pots only sell for 144 so you're losing 1322gp per pot! Mak_1027 Posted January 14, 2008 Share Posted January 14, 2008 Just gather or farm all the ingredients yourself ...kind of what I like about the GE prices ...if you want to make money and lvl a skill, you have to do the work yourself, not just buy all the stuff. When Jagex bring out the 1v1 bounty hunter area, expect your pots to rise in price. Collect as many of the raw materials yourself if you don't want to make a huge loss. J35u5_M4 Posted January 14, 2008 Share Posted January 14, 2008 the ONLY way to get money with herblore is to gather all the sources by yourself, means get the vials, herbs and 2nd ingredients (I got 1k snape using waterbirth tele, get there then mooclan tele, bank and repeat). also....Super attacks are 400gp ea and you spend like 1.2k per potion, so....the only way is to get all by yourself Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
