January 13, 200818 yr I'm trying to get herblore up and also trying to make a bit of cash, but with GE prices you make a loss on every potion. e.g. Avantoe is 1031gp, Snape grass is 435gp but the pots only sell for 144 so you're losing 1322gp per pot! And that's without the extra 100gp for wf vials. Is there any way to make money on herblore now?

January 14, 200818 yr Just gather or farm all the ingredients yourself ...kind of what I like about the GE prices ...if you want to make money and lvl a skill, you have to do the work yourself, not just buy all the stuff. Sure it takes a lot longer, but it is what I enjoy about the game.

January 14, 200818 yr Herb prices are at all time lows atm, but so are pots. When Jagex bring out the 1v1 bounty hunter area, expect your pots to rise in price. Collect as many of the raw materials yourself if you don't want to make a huge loss.
January 14, 200818 yr Author I think my solution will be to fish sharks (can't seem to sell swordies anymore) and use the money from that on herblore.
January 14, 200818 yr the ONLY way to get money with herblore is to gather all the sources by yourself, means get the vials, herbs and 2nd ingredients (I got 1k snape using waterbirth tele, get there then mooclan tele, bank and repeat). also....Super attacks are 400gp ea and you spend like 1.2k per potion, so....the only way is to get all by yourself
