icecube
Start off by getting around 1.5k-2k tokens to be safe. Many people usually get a rune defender in that range. Best way to get tokens is as your friend says, kill armors in the animated armor room. Use either black or mith, both don't break often and are pretty easy to kill. hitman76
*cough noob question comming* i would need food though right? lol  so ambarrased lol so how much food do you think ill be needing and is it also a good way to gain xp for cb stats? (do you even gain xp towards cb stats  (another noob question)) lol thanks alot for the advice...ill be killing for a while i guesse : EDIT: ill be needing to kill 80 black armours to get 2k tokens. so how many food would that be? and how much xp does each give? Lord Diddy
Black armor gives 20 tokens. Since they are level 69's I doubt that they would consume too much of your food. They have 60 hit points so, 60X4 would be 240 exp per kill. Tip.It's The Warriors' Guild
alcoolj
It took me 2k tokens to get my rune defender. Get your tokens by using a mith set ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ only 1 bit broke on me while getting the 2k tokens. Make sure you get at least 2 rune defenders, coz if you lose it and have thrown away your others, you start from bronze again. Pick up all the black knives ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ they make for excellent range training :) Here is a link to Leesters farming for Dummies ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ it is an excellent step by step guide on beginning farming. It is a chore for the first 30 or so levels, but once you can plant trees, the levels roll in daily for almost nil effort! http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=299 ... ht=farming
hitman76
THANK YOU VERY MUCH GUYS!!! thanks for all the help  i'll be looking forward to my membership experience. and for the 2 rune defender's thing, i think i'll just hold my addy one incase and if i ever lose it (god forbid ) ill just get the rune defender starting at addy...thats how it works right? lol and thanks for the tip on keeping the black knives, that will be one of my goals as well, getting 70 range : btw thanks alcoolj for the link to farming, i found a guid to all memb stats that im going to train to 50+ for quests except farming  thanks, and i think im gona stick to black armour, just buy a couple extra sets incase lol (and ill be needing a set for hero's later on :P) [Thank you very much Skull_Emblem For the Beutiful Sig And Jopie for doing the Text]
Soulthresher
It would also help if you go to the Warrior's Guild for the defenders, not the worriors  Yea, use black, or even iron armor, to get your tokkens. They are fast to kill and drop a decent amount of tokkens and won't use too much food. 2k tokkens would be a safe number to get before trying to get a defender and its a random drop, or so I hear, so a ring of wealth should not help you any. mega_vegeta6
Actually Rune is way faster than using black armour, i have tried both. A rune kill takes a little longer yes but almost 3 times the Tokens, Black seem to be fast kills though, yet to break once, the same with rune. Every set has one specific piece that Always breaks, so you stock up on that piece, less than black is not worth it.
xlorp
Don't bother with an addy defender as your backup if you lose that rune defender. Do the extra time up front to get more rune defenders as backups in your bank. That way you'll always have rune on hand and then go back to the guild for more when you're down to your last one. It works out to the same amount of time spent per rune defender achieved, but you never have to use that obsolete addy piece.
Darkdoom
It's all random, but i average out to be 1 per 200 tokens. For me anyway. Awesome sig by LittleBoy.The words "free", "fast", "fun" and "99 stat" just don't go together.
hitman76
Hmm...the only reason i didn't suggest rune was because of the lvl, and my lvls lol :XD:. and i'll probably get 2 rune defenders while im at it then if i have extra tokens. Also about how many of the ogres do i have to kill? any guesses? because i want to calculate the total xp i will gain in combat stats and the amount of bones i will recieve towards prayer. thanks again guys for all of the awsome feedback and spell checks :XD: :XD: EDIT: Uhoh :anxious: not another noobie question...they are ogres right... :anxious: :anxious:  [Thank you very much Skull_Emblem For the Beutiful Sig And Jopie for doing the Text]

xlorp
They are Cyclops, apparently a sub-species of Ogre. Lvl 56 - 80hp Lvl 76 - 100hp I was personally very unlucky with how long it took me to get up from Bronze to Rune, so I won't tell you how many tokens I spent. I will tell you that the Mithril suit seemed to give a good balance on kill speed and food efficiency without breaking. The lower the quality of the metal in the armor, the higher the odds of a part breaking on you mid-fight. With the Exchange, it's a lot easier to track down replacement parts now, no matter what metal you fight.

xlorp
If I recall correctly, it was 5k tokens to work my way up to rune and get one spare. Since I'm a skiller/CareBear and never PK, I haven't lost my first one yet. So balance your own play style against the probable time requirements to pick up a pile of these beauties. The bank isn't too far from the room, there is a bank inside the Guild. (hope I understood what you meant by camp and run)
