Has Jagex been price fixing? i mean look at the easter egg prices, it seems none have been sold for ages, and it looks like jagex have lowered the G.E price by around 200k / 5-7 days or so.

 

 

 

Just because no trades take place, doesnt mean that the price should be lowered :-s

Jagex have always been against the enormous amounts of gp paid for items that we're supposed to be for fun. Maybe that's why?

The issue at hand is, GE is not designed to auto-adjust prices for items that have low trade volume. Rares are especially affected by this, so prices does not adjust despite market trends. Thus JaGeX are forced to step in and adjust the prices manually (as a short fix) until they can improve GE to reflect the market pricing better.

if none are selling, but people are massively trying to buy at a low price then they lower

 

 

 

 

 

if none are selling even if offered to be bought for max. means it should go up.

Quality post prima - I agree with that, and that's exactly what I was going to post. I don't think it's a negative act by them - they are trying to fix the lack of trade on specific items.
