At lost city I kept getting jungle/cave horrors

 

 

 

Now at Shilo all I get is brine rats...wtf?

I have also had that problem, from Duradel(Shilo Master) I had previously gotten Brine Rats a lot, and now it's Kaplphites like every other task it gets extremely annoying.

Yeah, I always seemed to get Kalphites, MetalDragons and Aberrants... basically my least favourite tasks.

 

 

 

I think Jagex mess around a little with what's assigned. For instance, in about 5 tasks, I was given wall beasts twice from Shilo.. go figure.

I was wondering that, this is like the 3rd time in a row I've had to kill dogs...

yeah duradel switches off between giving me abberants and kalphites every other task, you learn to deal with it =/

To me, it seems like they stick to certain monsters for a period of time, then move on.

 

 

 

When i first got to duradel, it was:

 

 

 

metal drags --> something else --> metal drags --> something else etc.

 

 

 

now its the same thing only with abby spects

 

 

 

i think that is over now since i just went from 55 irons to 155 dust devils :P

duradel always gives me iron dragons then black demons then iron dragons then black demons.......

 

 

 

Personally i swapped back to the zanaris master and i am getting alot more variety in my tasks (though i do get gargoyles fairly often)

it seems Duradel have a "monster of the week" show going on.

 

for me it was:

 

abberants 3 weeks ago

 

gargoyles 2 weeks ago

 

nechs a week ago

 

and this week its apparently Kalphites :wall:

Yeah on my route to 85 slayer Duradel seemed to give me Black Demons every other task and then Kalphites. Also Gargoyles seem to be another of his favorites.

 

 

 

As for the guy who hates Abberent Spectres, don't be so silly. These are one of the best monsters in the game.

 

 

 

Wear full prostelye, nose peg, and salve ammy (e). Mage prayer and you're sorted. Just as if you were wearing a black mask. I find 4 prayer pots(4) is more than enough to last me a full inven of decent herbs (ranarrs and above) and you are almost guaranteed to get 5 ranarrs back to pay for the pots used. Plus they give a pretty hefty slayer XP.

I love cave horrors remember when i 1st time got that task i got 2 black masks in something like 2 hours;

 

 

 

Kaphites then is ideal for combat and slayer training too, then i can use keris + black mask - is great damage and they hit me poor and now i started to use guthans..

 

 

 

Aberant Scepters my lovelly - i do it without any prayer and i here can use salve ammy with hight antimagic armours..

 

 

 

These task not require super special preparations is why i love it, like metals already require antifire pots, pray pots, bolts or wpn & etc.. and you feel allways danger at they...
