solopy567
I'm considering going aviansie hunting, but i need to know what to bring and what are the minimum requirements to do it. Thanks
runevirage
The only thing you need to survive in anything else but the boss rooms are a sara, zammy, bandos, and armadyl item. Most of the time you'll only need 3 or 2 out of the four, since they're not evenly spread in all areas. There are a lot of high leveled creatures there, but it's not that dangerous since prayer protects against like half of everything, and any god equipment stops all attacks from that faction. With your stats, you could enter and stand in the GWD no problem. Fighting the bosses is another story however, and your stats are nowhere near. icecube
Here's a thorough guide for it: http://www.truthscape.com/html/ts_Truth ... agicRa.htm I'd recommend 70+ range and 80+ defense if you want to tank (and bones to peaches or the tablets), or 70+ range and 60+ prayer for using prayer. Trollface
You will want an armadyl helm, so you can use a fury for additional stat bonuses. And also DONT use a crystal bow, they are a waste and you miss out on the defence that could have been given by the Granite/obsidian/dragonfire shield. Always use a crossbow, and have a saradomin, armadyl, and Zamorak item.
Rosanante1
My advice is to get 70 range before you venture in, otherwise pot up with a range pot. I Take: Saradomin coif (archer helm) Black Dragon hide top and legs (or next best) Snakeskin boots Barrows gloves (or next best / drag-hide vambs) Zammy Book Rune XBow Mithril bolts Fury (Sara holy symbol) Ava's Accumulator (Cape) I also take 5 pray pots, 2 range pots, Holy Wrench, 10 swordies, high alch runes, teletab, 2 leeches, Summoning pot. (Some people tank up and take more food and a burden familiar to carry more food which dispenses with the need to pray but imo my way still proves to be profitable enough). This method means i can make 180-200 kills, come out with 160-180 addy bars plus 80-100k alched, usually in 2 hours or less. You might get half of that loot with your current level and the gear in brackets. i also charge up at the O'oglog pools before i tele to Trollheim. This keep the Bandos monsters at bay for the duration. You need protection from Zammy, Sara and Bandos creatures. you want the Armadyll birdies to attack unless you don't pray, in which case you need the Armadyll pendant. Good luck. Still the proud owner of Quest Cape since 8th December 2007All skills used to be 70 or higher. (Dang you Dungeoneering. Oh wait, it's not a skill...)Drops: Whips 8, Black Mask 8, D/Skirt 1, D/Spear 1, D/Shield Left Half 1, D/Boots 12, G/Maul 4, Range Ammy 1, Hexcrest 1. jaderman10
61 range is the minimum for aviansie hunting. Your prayer level is pretty high, so i would bring your best prayer gear (don't forget a zammy and sara item) and a rune crossbow with mithril bolts. Your inventory should have one noted addy bar, 2 free spaces, 50 natures, 250 fires, 2-3 ranged pots, and fill the rest with prayer potions. With 59 prayer, you should be able to last 150-200 kills. 60 is better because you can wear a stole. Played runescape for about 2 years!I love SSBB!!! greene8535
70+ range is a highly recomending thing, and at least 70 def, I used it with 70 def and did fine
davidium
70 range at least definitely...having bones to peaches will allow u to stay down there almost indefinitely...remember to bring your armadyl pendant/amulet unless u have armadyl equipment...also if your def is high enough u might want to use zammy book instead of having a shield...remember to bring mithril grapple if u want to range the aviansie inside the armadyl encampment maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
