VjuliusT
Well just before tipit "crashed" I had a signature request by Ryder but as the forums was down after I made the first one I decided to make 2 more. C/c or Tips would be awesome. 1. I'm pretty happy how the colours turned out but I noticed (too late) that I didn't blend in the render in the background properly. 2. I'm also pretty happy with the colours on this one but yet again I didn't blend it properly and the flow is somewhat "meh". 3. Version 1 Version 2 Version 3 I'm happy with this one (Was thinking of using it myself :P), was thinking of adding a C4D but it was too hard, any tips ? I just stated my opinion under these Signatures, I would love to hear yours.
Chained_life
work on flow and depth. Seems kinda plain as well, add more to the BG, not bad :P
VjuliusT
Ah, thanks, yes I'm working on the flow but I'm clueless on how to work on the depth? (Is that the blending of the render/bg?) I tried adding C4Ds to the background but as it's so "bright" the C4Ds turn out "bad" if I put it like that, I'll work on it though. Thanks a lot for your reply, it means a lot to me. Jopie211
1: Not bad, but the blending is indeed quite a big issue. Also, it's a bit simple and lacks depth. This basically means that the sig looks very flat and 2-dimensional, whereas you're going for a more 3D-looking background. Try adding in some C4Ds/other things and blurring parts that are meant to look like they are further away. 2: Same as #1 really, but the render placement could also be better here. 3: V3 looks quite good, the blending is definitely much better here. Still, the comments about depth on the first one still go here. It could also use a simple border, just a one pixel white one would work best I think. pixel avvy by me deviantART
VjuliusT
Thanks for "kickass" comment Jopie :D, I'll drain that advice as a sponge, I'll try to make my background darker next time so I can get in some C4Ds.
shivers21
Hmm, the first 2 are fine, but the 3rd either you went over te render with your brush, or it's a horrible render cut. a way to fix this is make a new layer and paste the render over. just testing out the new forum atm, i'm not really liking it :( {DeviantART}{Last.Fm}{Join Sublime GFX, great community for artists!}Back to RuneScape, Again.Avatar by Brian The Great
VjuliusT
It's actually a distort that caused it, I did it to make the background better while getting the render to blend in a bit.

Adding an untouched copy of the render on top of everything else will make it stand out way too much. pixel avvy by me deviantART
