I like the lay out alot =), it really fits it for the kind of site your making it =)

It looks nice, font is a little hard to read in some parts of it.

Looks really dark on my screen, maybe make the text a little lighter or make more contrast between the background.

I like the nice grunge effect, but the text in some areas can be difficult to read, but it really matches well. Also, I like the nice effect when the cursor is placed over the "EVIL MERC" in the top left corner. :D

No it was used (with permission) from modx.de a german backgrounds site. There is a copyright in the footer of the html.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have recoded the ste froim scratch again and make the menu and titles in flash. I worked out how to give flash movies a transparent background so its got smooth edges instead of annoying blocks around the edge like with gif files.

 

 

 

I also gave the text a brown border... dunno if that makes much of a difference. I have a pretty dark monitor and it looks ok to me.

 

 

 

I also added like a burned edge effect to the featured site image. It didnt look right just having a screenshot there. Thanks to whoever suggested i change it cant remember who it was.
