dsavi Posted June 9, 2008 Share Posted June 9, 2008 I'm sure most of you have seen this, was my entry in a sig battle, but could use some CC on it. The text sucks, I know. Please tell me how to improve it :D . Thinking of adding more vector just for the heck of it. The text says "Effects", because, as most of you know, that's what the name of the battle was. Tried to blend the render, and failed. So I tried instead changing the colors of the C4D to match the logo, which I think worked quite well. CC anyone? Edit: Version 1: Vector opacity toned down a bit. Tried a gradient for color. Changed the font to a pixel one. Blended "Rays". I agree. The "white sun ray things" kind of ruin the blending of the icon and render, which, IMO don't do too well either, but I can tell you attempted to. If you make the arrow above and the lines beneath the text somewhat less visible (lower opacity or put layer style on overlay or something like that) and then make the text in a white pixel font with a little reduced opacity I think that would improve it.
