I came up with this idea when I was killing Fire Giants. (Slayer FTW)

 

Summoning Combat Addition sometime can mess you Combat... I know, we have the Free to Play World which Removes your Summoning Combat Addition.

Lets say, you are BHing and you have like 60 Summoning and you are Level 113 (Summoning Combat Addition) and you have to fight in the High Level Crater when your Normal Combat level is like 105-109. That really sucks eh? This Idea solves everything!

You can't turn off the combat effects for attack, strength, defense, range, magic, or prayer, why would they do that for Summoning? It would completely go against the point in having summoning raise combat in the first place if you could turn it off, and you'd just have people complaining that they want to turn off other combat levels as well.

Ummm.... Summoning gives a reasonable advantage in combat (Ravenous Locust and Unicorn are good without fighting), so no. Like has been said before, you can't turn off other combat skills; why these?

Have you ever tried to dk with spirit terrorbird or tortoise? If u wanna grab items you have to be quick before it runs away which is quite annoying...

 

And you can somehow turn off other combat things... Just put auto-retaliate off and you won't attack anyone... Same could be with familiars...

he meant how your combat level rises through summoning, my cb is 95, but in f2p its 92. that's what he meant

There's a reason why the combat levels for the p2p craters are higher and broader.

I agree, this goes completely against the idea of Combat Levels and is basically unsupportable.

I think this should only apply for Bounty Hunter, since that's the only place right now where combat matters and you can't even use Summoning there anyway.

It already does. In PTP, the craters are higher level, and in FTP summoning doesn't count. Of course, in PTP those who do not train summoning have an advantage, but they can no longer go in FTP.

I know, lets have an option to disable every skill so we can all be equal like new players! [/sarcasm]

 

 

 

I really fail to see the point of this. Why should summoning be excluded? It's totally pointless, no support.

this is a dumb idea.

 

although it would be nice if jagex made it so the cb requirements for the pc boats were without summoning because all those 95s with summoning ruined it. and becides jagex raised the range of levels for BH by 12 when summoning came out.
