Leetman
Hey, does anyone remember some of the monster suggestions people made in rsc/rs2? I'm talking about ones like the Casanova Islands (http://www.runescape.it.tt/) and otherwise. I'm wondering if there were any more, as well as what happened to some (if jagex ever accepted some of them)
me
Back in the early days most of the suggestions seemed to be for ridable horses. Back in October 2001 Joth suggested "Animal Helpers" - you could call that Summoning. Mechscape World (the original MechScape fansite)
Omali
Hmm, I can see a lot of similarities between stuff on that map and things that have been released.
SwreeTak
Well, for example the POH on the map made into the game. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

Bobbington
I know the Evil chicken was defiantly from a player suggestion, although we wont blame them for that :P Loads of things came from the rsof though, and I believe most slayer and summoning monsters came from the monster suggest sticky
Leetman
Afflins maze = melzars maze no doubt. melzar's maze (Im fairly certain) existed at the time th dude made his suggestion, if anything he was borrowing from jagex (and making it a lot for difficult IMO)

me
Well, for example the POH on the map made into the game. Player Owned Houses were on the official maps and in the game in placeholder form from launch until the release of the Item Bank on the 26th of July 2001 (they were in the east of Varrock and to the east of the White Knights in Falador). Andrew decided that there would be too many players for them each to have a house (and even too many for his second option which would be a house per clan), and that dynamically creating houses would have have to wait (five years it later turned out). Yes_Its_Ross
People suggested higher leveled metal dragons, and here comes Jagex to save the day with mithrils. ]
Range_This11
People suggested higher leveled metal dragons, and here comes Jagex to save the day with mithrils. I'm officially suggesting Adamant and Runite dragons. All further credit will now be deferred to me :D "He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."
