June 21, 200818 yr I want to start merchanting with the Grand Exchange, but I don't really know how to and I don't know what things are good to merchant. If someone can teach me and tell me what items are good that would be great. Oh yeah! Look at these pro skills! Yes, I know I suck...Going for 70 Fletching! Oh yeah!
June 21, 200818 yr You really have to find out the best things yourself. But generally, people buy a high-value item a few coins above minimum price, and sell a few below medium price. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
June 21, 200818 yr yeah, do waht he said. Experiment. No good mercher whould share his secrets with others. Also, dont tell others if you find a good one either. :-#
June 21, 200818 yr You can just follow the patterns and take chances. I recently bought 30k nats when they were 260ea, I'll sell at 290ea(or so) and make myself a nice profit. That's a way you can merchant. EDIT - Signature far exceeds our sig limits but since it's so colourful you can keep it.
June 21, 200818 yr old school merchanting was in pure rune ess, dunno if its still goin on though. Thats how i made about 4-5 mil, then i invested in barrowing, then i got hacked, now im about to do it again lost rights to my dark red text >:( 12/20/06 - QUEST CAPE OF ACHIEVEMENTBarrows sets: guthan, verac, dharok, maybe ahrim eventually <- lost to a hacker whole stole everything of worth from my bank
June 21, 200818 yr Looking at your stats, I doubt you have enough cash to merchant. In GE merchanting, you can mage huge cash a day (friend makes 20m a day) but he has a a few bil worth of items and cash... I would reccomend at least 100m+. June 22, 200818 yr I buy as many steel bars I can for market price, then go to edgevile and make cannonballs. Profit is about 150 per steel bar (4 c-balls) also it gets really boring so i listen to music or something sup, all!
June 22, 200818 yr also, if you have 60+ smithing and a good bit of extra time on your hands, you can make steel with 1 iron and 1 coal using the blast furnace, then make those into c-balls. more profit per bar, but takes longer so decide for yourself if you think it's worth it or not.
