noobs r us
i got this ideal from revs and i based this random on the real world arguement of is there really spirits. In this random, whenever you kill a monster, a spirit is released. but sometimes the spirit will come back and attack you, with a lot more power :o I thought a lot of people would find this pretty cool as most of us grind combat lvls without anything exciting happening, and these spirits will be a little fun :D if you don't get killed -.- If you get a spirit random from a lvl 3 man and you are combat 100, the spirit's combat will only be 103. but if you get a spirit random from a mithril dragon and you are combat 100, it will be combat 404  To make the game save and fair, this should not work in mini games such as pest controll or barrow, or in quest monsters, unique monsters(by unique, i mean not more than 1, so you can't get a spirit random from the god wars dungeon bosses and sub-bosses), or other random monsters such as the evil chicken. and here is a little pic i made of what the spirit random of a black demon would or should look like plz tell me what you think about this and put in any suggestions :) shame on all you people who call others noobs

sibmaster
AWFUL! I would hate to always worry "omg a spirit may pop up after i kill this, omg i only have 3hp left" and tbh im sorry but i don't like the idea that a monster could pop up at any moment after you have killed a monster that is even stronger, in some cases, much more stronger. ~ Sibmaster Smashing Pumpkins Fan? Dallasc779
im sorry but i have to agree with sibmaster. well how about instead of the spirit being a bad thing, maybe it can be aa good thing. Like the soul was possesed or something like that, and by killing it, the soul is free. it will tele you to a mystical place and thank you for releasing him. it will be human so for example, if you kill a great demon and you get this random, a human soul will come out and thank you. the reward will be temporary stat bonuses or permanet xp. Italian5kamikaze
Some monsters would be way too powerful, such as god wars bosses, kq, mith dragon etc. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
Georgelemmons
Some monsters would be way too powerful, such as god wars bosses, kq, mith dragon etc. You didn't read the whole thing, did you... :shame: To make the game save and fair, this should not work in mini games such as pest control or barrow, or in quest monsters, unique monsters (by unique, i mean not more than 1, so you can't get a spirit random from the god wars dungeon bosses and sub-bosses), or other random monsters such as the evil chicken. It wouldn't apply to most of the monsters you listed. However, it would be nice if this didn't work for any of the dragons/other high lvl monsters. Ultimakomoto
News flash: People hate the revenants! It sounds good in concept, but people already hate the revenant idea, and expanding this beyond the wild could bring about a ruination to most training (eek! what if an angry ghost gets me!?) It won't happen. *By "people", I'm excluding the ones who go revenant hunting for fun and otherwise.* Need a new signature....perhaps...

Seothenoob
This is a terrible idea. Along with the already said "omg i'm wearing dh and i have 3 hp and i can't kill this monster or a spirit will attack me", Jagex has already said they are trying to get rid of randoms that don't work. This would probally be one of those randoms that wouldn't do its job. It would be fun for a day, then it would become a nuisance. Whips:3Dragon Boots:23GWD Drops: 1xBandos Hilt, 1xBandos Tassets. heavyc1
Maybe the spirit would have super high hitpoints, but the same [or even lower] strength and attack. Thanks Draynor.net!

Sometimes when you just kill something you are really low on HP and can't really handle another monster attacking you. Dragon Drops:1 D Med, Fire Giants task June 3rd, 2008. folmer_veeman
this would be optional, like a spirit pops out and you get the chance to either talk to it friendly and get a 5k xp lamp, or kill it for a chance to get a 10k xp lamp, or a 2k xp lamp.
