I'm not sure if it can be made from a black mask (10) and use up the charges. As i'm sure you're aware, the uncharged version gives you a 15% attack and strength bonus when wearing it killing a monster you are currently assigned for by a slayer master. The charged versions, which are the origional drops, start with 10 charges. "Black mask (10)". These charges are pretty much useless. All they do is, randomly, on any monster (and players too), is activate on their own and reduce the opponents defence some. I'm not sure how much, since it's pretty much a waste of space, and you can't control it, i've never seen a study into it. You can only use the mask for a slayer helmet when it's uncharged, and theres no way to "recharge" a mask. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is currently no way to recharge this mask. This make then: 1. You waste less bank space because you have 5 items just in 1 slot; 2. You can use black mask effects on slayer monster which require some protective slayer head gear, then before update in this way you was unable to use on they black mask, like: Aberal scepters, banshees & etc.. 3. Less chance to forget something when you go to kill monsters which require some slayer head gear. 4. It give some defence bonuses (check then link) then it better then black mask. However, I never cared enough to really look into it and that could be completely wrong. Problem is then black mask use charges randomly & automatically, if you have black mask (10) and if you will train slayer with it your black mask will use all of they randomly, these charges if i good remember decrease enemy defence when it used, player unable control it except some update changed it, but i don't know it...
