Hmm, maybe Jagex can create a hi-def world map. They can keep the regular map for people with slower computers of course. Basically the world map would be like Google Earth?

No need to recreate it, just add on to whats already there. It take a very long time anyway to recreate it, the graphical update ought to make it better.
