I'm not sure how pures and what not work, but I think they usually have pathetic attack and defense, so automatically cutting off 50% of the damage you take would seem to be a big help.

sozbutlolz, I recommend training prayer until you're just short of going mad from it. (Not literally, but you get what I mean.) The reason for this is that if you have a rather high prayer level, you have a lowered chance of dying. Further, you end up with the ability to run several prayers at once and not have them run out as soon as they would at lower prayer levels. Also, if you have 70+, you end up with the bonus ability to help prevent others from losing their stuff in the rest of the game. (TBH, that last one is kind of its' own reward. I've been thanked for helping people save their stuff at my lower prayer level, but having 70+ prayer would allow you to help save it and then walk away totally.)

Its whatever you want personally.

 

 

 

1 prayer- More hp and you don't have to worry about activating prayers. You loose items, but you have a better chance of tanking it (lack of better term there) because you have more hp.

 

 

 

13 prayer- Only get this if you plan to melee- its the 10% str boost. Adds minimal combat.

 

 

 

25/26 prayer- You can protect your 1 most valuable item (1 iteming :D) and with 26 you have the 10% range boost AND protect item. 26 prayer is really good for range/2hers.

 

 

 

31/34 prayer- This is usually gotten by people who use melee. 31 is 15% strength boost and 34 is 10% attack boost <-- This one helps somewhat for fighting people with defence. Although not too much.

 

 

 

43/44 prayer- I wouldn't recommend getting this, but oh well. Some people like having the 15% range boost and protection prayers. Just a reminder though- protection prayers only take off 50% of what the damage would have done originally. If you have 1 defence, you get hit constantly, so protection prayer would only take off half that. I would prefer having more hp over that, but that is just me.

 

 

 

Also remember if you use protection prayers during a fight, people will pretty much automatically run out, because they don't want to waste their supplies on you.

 

 

 

I would also think this would be better served in graveyard help and advice.
