Well i haven't mines ess for about 4 years, but from what i remember with speeds it would be considerably faster cash than sharks with prices as they are these days.

yea p ess owns sharks but its only 150k/hr so its basically good for starters. With your fishing you can probably rack up monks easy. I say 1k+ an hour but even if its 800 or 500 you still do just as good if not better as p ess AND they give more exp then sharks! This gets you an edge to 99 fishing. \

Pure essence is faster cash then sharks. But then again, you can't make a good fortune out of essence.

 

Fishing monks is the better way for cash. And you catch them quicker then sharks. More exp, more money.

 

Pretty much no downsides...

I would think mining pure essence makes better cash because it goes so damn fast. Especially if you compare with fishing sharks, you get like 1 shark and in the same amout of time you could have 4 full inventories of pure essence :D .

 

 

 

But definatly fishing sharks is better for you experience and it's probably more fun and way more relaxing. It's all up to you.

if you have a high enough summoning level you could bring along a summoning potion and a couple of abyssal titan scrolls, enabling you to mine p ess continually without running to the bank for a long period of time ;)

If someone has high enough summoning for that :thumbup: , then he should'nt be mining pure ess.

i never had problems with sharks after level 80, so i like sharks over ess
