Danqazmlp
No, just do shilo 100% You'l get a few slayer levels at the same time as getting the items, isn't that what its meant to be for? Extra reward while training. I did 23 shilo taks in a row for my slayer helm, got two slayer levels and 2 defence levels at the same time, much more rewarding than slaughtering hundreds of lvl 20 bears and skeletons etc for the helm. Mr_Adam
Ok... any more help would be appreciated. I'm torn up because I can't decide whether I want rewards, or experience/money. What's even so great about the slayer helm?
Master_Smither
Someone did the figures and it said that doing straight tasks is faster than doing duradel every 10. I say do duradel every task or even sumona for some lesser tasks. Foooman
Ok... any more help would be appreciated. I'm torn up because I can't decide whether I want rewards, or experience/money. What's even so great about the slayer helm? Cannonable specters, black mask on dust devils, and the extra armor. It's really only something for someone who really trains slayer, not for someone who is plowing through level 20 bears where its bonuses aren't worthwhile. The slayer rewards from smoking kills are extras, bonuses for training slayer that makes it easier, not necessities. I wouldn't get the helm unless you are seriously training slayer and using either Sumona or Duradel full time.
jade_slayer6
Do sumona, she doesn't give impossibly hard tasks like warped terrorbirds. I'm currently on my 8th task from her and the worst ive gotten so far are red dragons, ( i just killed the babies). You get 12 points per task and you can do duradel on the 10th and 50th tasks if you want to put your streak on the line. :ohnoes: \

But overall what is the point of the slayer mask? to get faster exp on some tasks yes? Surely it works out faster exp wise to do it all at duradel. Do rubbish tasks for no exp for a few days then have to catch up about 200k exp. Or do all from duradel take a few days longer but be up 200k exp Want to be my friend? wioneo
I agree. The helmet is a bonus, and it's only really useful for someone who trains slayer a lot. What's the point in sacrificing all of that time on rubbish tasks to get a helmet which barely makes a difference. The helmet really isn't necessary at all(but it's definately nice to have) and you should really be more focused on training the skill than wasting time that could be spent getting experience to get an item which will barely help you train. Mr_Adam
I do slay mostly when I'm training combat (2 skills > 1). I want exp too, so I think I'll be doing Duradel continuously. Thanks!
