July 5, 200818 yr what else does this need, gonna develop it over this month in hope to submit it into the July pic of the month thread start throwing some ideas at me, as i already have some i need to try out  DeviantARt - http://brammy7.deviantart.com/
July 5, 200818 yr try making an oasis arround it or make many people around it trying to pull it out like mages and such How does 20 minutes turn into 2.5 hours? Was your math perhaps magical math?
July 5, 200818 yr Chuck some very "out there" things in it. At the moment it just looks kinda boring. You did on a 3d program? I think add maybe a sand storm in the background and an oasis? Chuck some ideas around and test them before you actually do it.
July 6, 200818 yr Yes it looks a bit boring at the moment, but has potential in my opinion. Maybe add some sandy hills in the background to spice it up a little. pixel avvy by me deviantART
July 7, 200818 yr put a tornado in the background, that would be pretty tight. Edit: Just thought of something pretty neat... Add a set of armor laying on the ground by the sword, with a skeleton in the armor, and you could name the picture: "The Fallen Warrior" 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
July 8, 200818 yr Moving over to something much more feasable, I would go for a much closer shot of it -- even in a case of some sort, or an open case. An open scene like this is boring and drab, and I don't think you'll have the technical skill to add this stuff others are shouting out. Other then that work on the texture of it, and add an HDR map for good measure. I know it's a runescape sword but that doesn't mean you can't get it to look realistic and, well, good. What program are you using to render this?
