'08 Dodge Challenger

Recommended Posts

I began drawing this by hand over a year ago. I finally pulled it out again, scanned it to my computer, and began to add some colors in Photoshop. Although I'm still not done, I'm posting it for some CC before I get to far along.

Just a note- the actual image I'm working with is over 4000 pixels wide, and I wasn't going to bother with doing an upload of it until the final version. Even with these, you may have to open the image in a new window so you can view the whole thing.

CC please?

Looking good Kaphias! Only thing I would say is change you colours a tiiiny bit.. If you are trying to re-create the reference picture I would suggest lightening your colour palatte, but only sllightly.

Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see the finished version :)

Nice job so far. Looking at the picture and your version, there needs to be more tire, because in the picture, it has a bit of rim, and then some tire. Not sure if there would be any way to get a rounded effect on the tires, instead of the squarish effect.

Can't wait for the final version. :)

Yeah, I know the colors are off. It's just one of those things I'll be messing with for quite a while.

I'll look at this more closely when I color the tire.

Looks great, will give a little bit of cc (Just one small improvement) when I get time.

Sure, thanks.

The fronts perspective seems a bit off to me. Maybe I'm blind though.

No, you're right. The lower lights and lower grille are off. I'll fix that...

Looks nice so far, good job.

Thanks!

nice one but in your version some parts look a litle bit choppy. parts of the car that normally would be round are now not round but you know like yeah at the right front tire you can see it;)

How does 20 minutes turn into 2.5 hours? Was your math perhaps magical math?

man, out of the 09 Camaro, 08 Charger and 05 Mustang, the 08 Challenger is closes to its original state. looks closes to what it was back in the day, i love it!

Image is going well, but as Nad said, the front is off

dsavi_x4 look on the original photo, the rl one. they are pretty sharp corners. and the frame is a bit thin.

Yes, they're pretty sharp corners, I think I got them right. But I think, you're correct about that part of the frame, it is a bit thin. Thanks for pointing that out.
