Useful Farming Update

Recommended Posts

Don't you hate harvesting your watermelon patch, but having a full inventory, running to the bank, go back to the patch, only to find you harvest just 2 more?

My idea is to change the examine option of alloment and herb patches (and some flower patches such as limpwurt) to give the exact number of herbs/produce it holds. Fruit trees already have this (pineapple at least), why not any other patches? It would allow you to plan ahead and decide to either simply drop a few to save time, or make the effort and bank and return to the patch.

I don't think this would be terribly difficult to add. As I said, fruit trees have this already.

Please post if you took the time to read this. I appreciate every support for this idea. Writing No Support is also appreciated (but only if you tell why you don't support!) I plan to post this on RSOF if there is enough support on tip.it.

Thank you for your time.

I also support. ALso I support having multiple compost bins and the leprechaun being able to hold infinite composts/buckets/supercomposts.

I never understood the limit on the amount of items it can hold.

I ALSO support having the leprechaun's little lets nailed and bolted to the ground....

Thanks for your support!

Support, because I'm tired of trying to predict how many herbs I've grown.

Thanks for the support.

I believe you mean Sacks and Baskets? Yes these do exist. I use them, and I also use my Terrorbird as a Beast of Burden. However anyone who has REALLY farmed for xp knows that even with these inventory boosts, the problem persists. You do not know if you'll have enough room/empty sacks/empty baskets.

My point was rather that they have to think of containers to transport mellons and corn, cuz those dont exist yet...

I support, farming is already rather hard skill because of the real time component.

I agree. Since certain allotments are used for farmer payments, it'd be nice to know if it was worth running back to a bank.

And I knew I recognized your name, fellow GUILDee.

Hehe, this is like Jagex telling half of Runescape players that they're [developmentally delayed]. Sort of. That's how I interpreted it. :P

Very good idea, I hated the farming trips with sweetcorn as always I had a doubt if all the corn fits into my inventory. FULL SUPPORT! (Or atleast something to hold corn and watermelons in)

Or get those leprechauns to hold crops and run to bank? For a fee of course.
