Listen to the Intro to Speed of Sound, and then listen to the intro to clocks. Slightly different rhythem, same patter :P (chord E+, chord Bb-, chord Bb-, chord f-) And Chris' vocals change from subtile to whiny too. After hearing the album a few times. I dunno what kind of weird instrument you have, but even their official piano books state that isn't the same. But who am I to know? And Chris' vocals change from subtile to whiny too. And don't get my wrong, I liked A Rush of Blood to the Head. And what is the point that you "can't actually identify with"? Bubsa Posted August 16, 2005 Share Posted August 16, 2005 God I sounded an arse nearly one year ago (Probably still do) I even used Mr. Roll! I just think it's maticulously made. The lyrics are deep and meaningful, you can actually hear what's being said (unlike other albums), the music is smoothing and relaxing, and at the same time invigorating. It just gives me goosebumps. Must be a biological likening of mine to it :P It's like nothing I've ever heard before, yet it's typical Coldplay. I just love it. I'll concede, it's not as good as skittles.
