I only have one task left for the Lumbridge/Draynor Achievement Diary, Take a Gnomecopter ride. But it says i have to have my back free. Which would mean taking off my skillcape, and being F2P now I think I'm right in saying I wouldn't be able to put it back on?

 

 

 

Does anyone know any way around this? I was hoping I wouldn't have to get membership again so soon. It's bad enough I lost the Ghostspeak and anti-dragon shield slots in my bank :/ . Pretty damn sneaky way to encourage people who they know have previously got members to buy it again.

To be honest, I'm extremely annoyed they would arbitrarily require us to take off clothing to use something purely for fun. What is the point?

No hat, no cape, no wielding, no followers. Logical, but irritating.

Or at least let us re-equip members items, we'll use them mostly for looks and they'll provide no stats. Its basically changing the code to allow some members items equipable in slots, I mean, they keep how they look, so the name just changes, but not the item itself.

They don't even have to do that, they just have to make the items graphically disappear while you're riding. Not that hard.

I can't see why skillcapes aren't able to be equipped in F2P. I spent months cutting trees, watching ads, and I paid for members to get the skillcape so I would have thought I had paid for the right to use the skillcape as I want. I'm fine with having to be a member to buy the skillcape, it's a good way to get people to buy members, but I want to be able to use it in F2P properly.

Jagex should make the skillcapes F2P... :D

Ouch, that sucks. Haven't even checked out achievement diary yet, can't for lets see.....8 more days.
