Gbpackers31
EDIT: I am going to start Monkey Madness but I have a couple of questions first which can be found at the bottom last post :) Thanks! Alright, Im undecided on whether or not to do Monkey Madness now or wait and train still :ohnoes: I want to complete it though to wield a dragon scimitar to train strength since my strength level is pretty sad  Here are my stats: HP: 67 Def: 67 Att: 70 Str: 59 Pray: 65 Rng: 52 Mage: 60 Agility: 57 Is this good enough? Im thinking about ranging the Jungle Demon at the end with the use of the safe spot area to let the gnomes do the hard work... should I raise my range level higher? Currently, Im killing green dragons, training my defence, and collecting the dragon bones to raise my bones. As of right now, I have 65 pray banked. EDIT: Done with prayer Also, with agility, should I raise it higher? Im thinking about training it to 70 using the Brimhaven Agility Arena. I have 530 tickets right now.... or would 57 be fine? I know I want to get 70 eventually though... Also, one last question... Would you recommend taking proselyte or monks robes on the island and in that dungeon thing? Proselyte seems nice since it has def to go along with the pray bonuses, but its heavier and would slow me down.... what would you say? :?
LilBabbz
I would honestly say you can do Monkey Madness, Seeing i finished it earlier and these are my stats: 72 atk 69 hp 68 str 67 def 42 range 52 mage 47 agil 46 pray I used proselyte armour and it was good, the prayer bonus helped alot also little things like holy symbol and wolfbone dagger helped. There isnt much need to train your agil, if you have things like spotted cape should reduce you down alot, and when travelling through the dungeon if you have any strange fruits or energy pots are useful, otherwise i didnt need them in anything else. And i think i used about 3 strange fruits. I used the tatic of a cannon, yes it's expensive but i also sold it back and gained my money back, but while the cannon did the work i fired wind blast aswell to help make it go faster. Good luck with it
Chaos_Reborn
Yes you can definitely do it, I only had 37 prayer when I finished it. If you use melee protection in the dungeon, all you need are some prayer pots. Visit my Runescape comedy website, based on in-game screenshots. Oscariina
You can do it, I finished it when my stats were like 50 40 40. Prayer 43 and ranged 50, worked out well. 268 Quest Points
The Observer
Sure you can do it. You just have to be willing to spend some money on prayer pots and super energies. ;)
Gbpackers31
Ok everyone! Thank you for the replies! :D Im going to do it but first Im going to do Slug Menace to get Proselyte armour and then use the bones I have in my bank to get my prayer a little higher up. Then Ill be off!
Seanthorn
It's a waste of time to get the prosleyte armour JUST for the Quest. I done it with 52 range and 43 prayer, and i done it with one lobby...... I used addy arrows with mage short, killed in like.. 1 minute? The running thru the dungeon was the hardest part i think. The Demon, really, you can kill it without the gnomes, i think i still got the pic ov it... I was all paranoid, brings 4 prayer pots, lots of lobbies and back up arrows... and i killed it easily haha

Ive been meaning to get proselyte armour for some time now and now I just have a reason to do it \ lol Im the same way with all quests I do; I always bring all these lobs and everything and never use one lol I have a question though: Would you suggest wearing a shield? Like a broodoo shield? I dont have a prayer book yet and dont feel like doing all that but what about a broodoo? Or would you skip it?
Gbpackers31
Alright, I know this is like a double post and all, but I need to bump this up from page 2 for two last questions (its better imo than starting a new topic for them): Ok, first, Would you recommend me using a broodoo shield for the added def and pray or just not take any shield at all? I know I already asked that above, but I never got a response. And second, for the dungeon part of the quest, would you recommend using super engery mixes (for 6 hp heal) or plain super energy potions? :? With your stats, you can trounce the demon EASILY. Just bring a addy crossbow, mith bolts, and 1 pray pot, praying mage. With protect from melee, you'll barely take any damage in the dungeon. The falling rocks only hit ~3 hp or so, you'll use a lobster or two there.

Range is better since according to the guide the demon has high mage resistance
