Ok, getting 70 range tomorrow, then buying 60 prayer or so. What would be the best way for me to go to GWD, ranging the Anvisies things (Yeah yeah, pretty sad if you don't know the name of the monster you're killing :oops:) Someone suggested tanking, and I think that sounds pretty good. If you could post a picture of an invintory to bring, and what to wear, I would thank you SO much :D Stats are in sig. Thank you all.

Torso: Armadyl > God Torso (zam or sara)

 

Legs: Armadyl > Torag Leg

 

Sheild: Dfs > Granite > Obby > God Book (if struggling for god items)

 

Amulet: Fury > Armadyl (If you don't have armadyl armor)

 

Weapon: Rune XBow > Crystal Bow

 

Boots: Rangers > Snakeskin > Bandos

 

Bracers: 3rd Age > God Bracers (zam or sara)

 

Quiver: Mith (e) > Mith

 

 

 

You will need 1 zam item, and possibly 1 sara item if you wish to not take damage when you enter. When you enter GWD, head south west

B2p Runes > B2p Tabs

 

3-4 Ranging Potions (4)

15-16 Good Food, Rest Disposable food (salmon etc that you may have to drop to make room for drops)

Unicorn Pouch > Bunyip > Spinner

 

And a bob if you wish

Everything there is proper and correct, except for the bolts: try using Broad-tipped bolts. They hit better than mith and are cheaper!

shield bonus is pretty goood against range, so yes shield > +8 range bonus.

 

 

 

Also, you need armadyl pendant if you don't have any armadyl armor, or they will all team on you and you'll get pwnt...

My setup to aviansies:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Don't mind the inventory, I forgot a grapple and should have taken pizzas instead of bloods/chaos. Replace the imp box with 2 law runes for tele'ing there and the sara stole with a holy symbol, which you drop once you're inside the Armadyl area.

 

If you don't have b2p unlocked, bring b2p tabs instead of earth runes.

 

If you don't have 68 summoning, bring more pineapple pizzas.

1.) You should be able to last until you run out of Bolts/B2p Runes/Tabs.. Thats the point of "camping"..

 

 

 

2.) Keep the granite shield.. Anything over 120 range attack bonus will hit well enough, and you want at least 230+ Range defense..

Is the Pendent a user a couple posts ago the same as a Pendant of lucien? The one from Temple of Ikov?
