I dont know much about Linux or Unix, but I know enough about windows and macs to say that windows are waaaaaaaay better, and the only reason macs are still in existence are because of schools that buy them. :roll:

Mk, but I dont know ANYbody that uses a mac, or anybody that would even consider using one, they're far inferior in my opinion

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know a lot of people who own macs, and a lot of people who want one. Myself included.

 

 

 

Macs really aren't that inferior/superior to PCs. It's just a matter of preference 99% of the time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I do a lot of CAD (computer aided designing and drawing) stuff, and a lot of programming, but it's all done on Macs. I just personally dont see any good in buying one

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Being a Mac owner I can give you a few good reasons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have never installed virus protection and haven't gotten any Spyware or any viruses of any kind.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have never had my computer lock up on me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My computer is way slicker than any PC I've ever seen (iBook)

Never actually used Linux but I heard it was pretty good while UNIX is a Mainframe operating system and I don't think I'm gonna use one of those for a while :P
