Some of you might have seen these, but I wanted to post my new work, but some new people might want to see my older things, thanks for looking.

All of these are very well made I congratulate you on your splendid work. My only criticism and perhaps this is just personal preference but some of your signatures have a monotone feel to them and could use with a larger palette of colors to bring them to life

Your right with that. But the gradient maps that I do, cover all the weird spots of the signature. Thanks for commenting.

Nice siggies. Try making the canvas smaller in height though, imo they'll look better. :thumbsup:

I would, but some renders are fatter than others, and you dont want to scale down too much.

Good job thru , my favorite is the birthday signature you made with "nero" as zhe render. Also I was half done making a signature with that trigun render you used :-#.

Your so good, definitely one of the best sig makers in The Gallery....And you use GIMPz0rs! Gotta have some respect for that. I love the way you blend, and your use of c4ds. It is great!

Progress, no doubt. You need to stop copping out and color your signatures though. :)

Great work. I agree about the monotoneness of some of the signatures though, I'm not a big fan of it. If you have weird coloured spots you can try to make them fit in by brushing with a soft brush on a new layer in the desired colour, then set it to colour blending mode and reduce the opacity. Doesn't always work obviously, but it's worth giving a try.

I think its better to gradient map and set on hue/color. meh.

Looking deeper on the latest one I see all the nice effects etc. but it's a bit boring to be honest, I think it could look better if you added a couple of larger C4Ds to spice up the thing a bit oder moar clipping mask?

 

 

 

It's absolutely not bad, smudging looks very nice, clipping masks are well placed etc. the border actually looks amazing on this one :P.

I wanted to keep the background whiteish based.

 

And I even use c4ds as clipping masks...

 

I like fragment c4ds, but I only used 1 c4d in this piece,

 

I thought the blue went well.

Ooh these be nice methink... you can do some cool things with the sprites.(#2 and teh dancing one are me favorites)

 

 

 

You do seem to overuse the black+white effect a bit... Now monotone can work well but bear in mind it does get boring rather quickly... I think the best sigs here are those made with a combination of black/white and colored areas(like #2) Then again, this could be a bit too direct in some cases... Just make sure your not doing the same thing for every new siggy yeh make.
